Surface mount power inductors
The NPI and NPIS series of surface mount power inductors from NIC Components Europe meet the needs of the latest applications that are following the industry wide trend for low voltage, high current circuit operation.
The inductors are suitable for use in a wide range of power managment and voltage conversion applications such as power supplies, DC-DC converters, voltage regulator modules and point of load voltage regulation. Unshielded parts are available with inductance values from 0.33µH up to 1,000µH and with current ratings of 2.1A to 30A. Shielded parts meanwhile are offered with an inductance range of 0.1µH to 10,000µH and current ratings from 3.0A to 56A. Both shielded and unshielded parts have low DC resistance. Operating temperature range varies depending on part number; the widest specification available is -55°C to +125°C.
NPI and NPIS series surface mount inductors are supplied in tape and reel packaging for automatic insertion with lead-free terminations available as standard.
